Ceritanya sendiri bercerita tentang Chise Hatori seorang gadis SMA yang yatim piatu dan memiliki kekuatan spiritual yang sangat besar . Karena kekuatannya tersebut banyak mahkluk supranatural yang tertarik kepada nya dan itu lah malapetaka bagi dia . Karena dia bisa melihat mahkluk yang tidak bisa di lihat oleh orang biasa . Dirinya di cap aneh oleh orang-orang bahkan di jauhkan oleh keluarga besar nya sendiri .
Pada akhirnya dia menyerahkan dirinya pada sebuah organisasi penyihir yang suka melelang barang-barang langkah untuk kepentingan sihir . Di sanalah dirinya bertemu dengan seorang pria berbadan besar bagaikan monster bernama Ainsworth Elias . Elias membeli nya dari organisasi tersebut dengan harga yang sangat tinggi , dan Elias pun membawan Chise ke rumah nya yang ada di suatu desa di Inggris . Di sini lah kehidupan Chise berubah , bersama orang misterius yang telah membeli nya dan berkata akan mengajarkan berbagai sihir kepada dan lebih mengejutkan nya lagi Elias berencana menikahi Chise ketika Chise sudah bisa menguasai semua kekuatannya . Apakah kehidupan Chise yang baru ini akan terasa lebih indah dari pada kehidupan di masa kecil nya yang kelam ? Atau mungkin sebalik nya ? Selamat menikmati Pengantin Penyihir.
