Sushi Police menceritakan tentang makanan Jepang, terutama sushi, telah menjadi masakan internasional tercinta, terutama saat pengumuman Olimpiade Tokyo 2020. Tapi selalu ada restoran yang terlihat untuk memanfaatkan dari reputasi makanan tradisional Jepang ini. Mereka melayani hidangan Sushi yang dicampur adukkan dengan komponen lain seperti rolls, krim keju dan saus teriyaki, disembunyikan dan terselubung dalam restoran sushi!
Hadirlah Sushi Polisi. Para pembela budaya dan tradisi Jepang, Organisasi Konservasi Budaya makanan Dunia diciptakan, dan Satuan 9 yang diperintahkan untuk Menghukum setiap restoran di dunia yang menodai nama sushi. Mereka melakukan perjalanan dunia dalam balon udara berbentuk kapal raksasa, Mendarat pada restoran yang dicurigai melanggar, kemudian menutup dan menghancurkan bisnis restoran tersebut.
