Seikoku no Dragonar Belajar mengendarai dan menjinakkan naga sangat mudah bagi kebanyakan siswa di Akademi Ansarivan Dragonar – kecuali untuk siswa kelas satu Ash Blake, walaupun dia di kelas sangat pintar dan sangat di unggulkan dalam pelajaran, tapi sampai saat ini dia belum sama sekali mendapatkan seekor naga sekali pun.
Suatu hari naga Ash terbangun dengan keanehan yang menemukan seokor naga, namun tampak berbeda dari naga yang pernah ada sebelumnya-dalam bentuk seorang gadis cantik! Yang lebih buruk lagi, Ash segera menemukan bahwa naga baru ini memiliki sikap luang, karena dia segera memberitahukan kepadanya bahwa dia adalah tuannya, dan dia, sang pelayan.
