Kimi to Boku bercerita tentang Empat anak laki-laki SMA yang sudah saling mengenal sejak kecil , berkumpul bersama di sekolah setiap hari . Ada si kembar tampan Yuuki dan Yuuta Asaba , Shun Matsuoka yang kelihatan santai dan Kaname Tsukahara yang merupakan keyua kelas yang tenang . Meskipun mereka telah terbiasa dengan kurangnya kegembiraan dalam kehidupan mereka tapi semua berubah ketika seorang siswa pindahan bernama Chizuru Tachibana yang setengah Jerman dan setengah Jepang dapat menambahkan sedikit petualangan lagi ke rutinitas mereka . Dengan kepribadian dan cerita energiknya dari negara yang jauh , Chizuru mungkin bisa menerangi suasana membosankan genk tersebut.
Anime ini berkisah tentang Siswa SMA yang ingin menganggap kehidupan sekolah mereka menjadi sesuatu yang menarik . Sebuah perjalanan berulang melalui kelas , argumen dan orientasi untuk karir masa depan yang terasa terlalu jauh . Tapi dengan sekelompok teman yang dekat dan gokil abis waktu bisa berjalan begitu cepat .
