Hellsing: The Dawn adalah OVA dan juga prequel dari Hellsing Ultimate yang bercerita tentang sebuah organisasi rahasia pembasmi vampir yang bekerja dibawah pemerintahan Inggris dan Ratu Inggris . Dipimpin oleh Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing , organisasi ini memiliki pasukan khusus tersendiri dan memiliki senjata rahasia bernama Arucard , vampir keturunan pertama dan paling kuat yang dikalahkan oleh Van Helsing ratusan tahun sebelumnya . Selain itu , Hellsing juga memiliki tambahan personel baru yang Seras Victoria yang merupakan seorang mantan polisi yang menjadi vampir gara-gara Arucard .
