Bleach Movie 2: The DiamondDust Rebellion movie ini adalah movie kedua dari anime pembersih yang bercerita ditugaskan untuk melindungi prosesi kerajaan yang mengangkut artifak yang kuat yang disebut “Ouin”, Squad 10 berkumpul di dunia manusia saat Kapten Toushirou Hitsugaya dan Letnan Rangiku Matsumoto mengamati daerah itu dengan hati-hati. Namun, kafilah tersebut tiba-tiba dipukul oleh sekelompok penyerang yang mendatangkan malapetaka pada barisan pertahanan tersebut, mencuri Ouin dalam proses penyenggelannya . Setelah pertarungan singkat dengan salah satu penyerang , Hitsugaya yang putus asa mengejar pencuri yang melarikan diri , meninggalkan Matsumoto dan regu yang mengalami disorientasi . Setelah kejadian tersebut , merek Seireitei adalah Hitsugaya yang menjadi pengkhianat karena meninggalkan jabatannya dan menempatkan Squad 10 pada ruangan tanpa batas .
Di dunia manusia, Ichigo Kurosaki sedang menyelidiki kelainan spiritual saat dia tersandung pada Kapten yang terluka , namun tertangkap basah saat Hitsugaya tiba-tiba melarikan diri . Segera belajar situasi Ichigo, Rukia Kuchiki , Renji Abarai dan Matsumoto berangkat untuk membuktikan bahwa Hitsugaya tidak bersalah dan menemukan kebenaran di balik pencurian Ouin . Sementara itu , hantu dari masa lalu Hitsugaya menghantui pikirannya saat dia mengejar pelakunya yang sebenarnya .
